COVID-19 Update

To our clients and friends,

As efforts to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus intensify, Radey continues to emphasize the health and safety of our employees while providing the client service you’ve come to expect.  Currently, we are not experiencing any physical disruptions at our office or in the Tallahassee community.  However, in the event this evolving issue might eventually result in closing or limiting access to our office, our attorneys and staff are prepared to work remotely through secure protocols.  Our experience through many years of serving the Florida market, including anticipated disruptions typically due to hurricane activity, has prompted us to continually maintain procedures for working remotely in a secure manner.

As with most businesses, we have taken precautionary measures to mitigate the risk to our employees and others even as the virus has not yet directly impacted our area.  We continue to monitor guidance from leading health experts and government authorities and will continue to adapt our response to their recommendations.

We have had the opportunity to advise a number of regulated businesses and other organizations on issues arising from COVID-19.  Our regulatory teams have addressed issues such as reviewing, updating and implementing business continuity plans and responding to government inquiries about preparedness.  Likewise, our employment lawyers have assisted with key human resources issues that have been emerging.  Shareholder Chris Lunny addresses some of these issues in our most recent March 2020 Employment Practice Update.

We appreciate your continued support and wish you continued health during this uncertain time.
