Radey Shareholders Make Presentation on New Medical Marijuana Laws
Radey Law Firm Shareholders Donna E. Blanton and Angela D. Miles gave a presentation at the Florida Behavioral Health Conference in Orlando on August 17, 
2017, entitled “Florida’s New Medical Marijuana Laws: What You Need To Know.” The presentation addressed the state’s new regulatory structure for medical marijuana, as well as issues relating to the intersection of Florida’s new medical marijuana statute with federal disability and privacy laws, as well as employment law. Ms. Blanton is an administrative lawyer who has represented several clients in connection with the state’s licensing process for entities interested in cultivating, processing, and dispensing medical marijuana. Ms. Miles is an employment lawyer whose practice also includes issues relating to HIPAA and the Americans with Disability Act.
