Radey Shareholder Appointed Vice Chair of SFGAP Certification Committee
Shareholder Brittany Adams Long has been appointed by the President of the Florida Bar as the Vice Chair of the Florida State and Federal Government and Administrative Practice (“SFGAP”) Certification Committee for 2018-2019 Bar year. The SFGAP Certification Committee is made up of SFGAP Board Certified attorneys whose responsibility is to review applications for certification and recommend candidates for certification. Board certified lawyers have met the Florida Bar’s highest standards for special knowledge, skills and proficiency in a particular area of law and professionalism and ethics in the practice of law. State and federal government and administrative practice is the practice of law on behalf of public or private clients on matters including but not limited to rulemaking or adjudication associated with state or federal government entity actions such as contracts, licenses, orders, permits, policies, or rules. It also includes appearing before or presiding as an administrative law judge, arbitrator, hearing officer, or member of an administrative tribunal or panel over a dispute involving an administrative or government action. Shareholders Donna Blanton, Susan Clark, and Travis Miller are also Board Certified in SFGAP.
