Radey Lawyers Speak at HR Conference
Christopher B. Lunny and Angela D. Miles will speak at the 2014 HR Florida Conference & Expo, held October 6-8, at the Hilton Bonnet Creek in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Lunny will present “Potential Pitfalls in Compensation Practices” on Monday, October 6 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. During the presentation, Mr. Lunny will discuss traditional and alternative compensation models under the Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as common employer pitfalls in calculating employee compensation.
Ms. Miles will present “The Developing World of LGBT” on Tuesday, October 7 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. During the presentation, Ms. Miles will discuss the rapidly changing landscape of sexual orientation discrimination. She will also review local ordinances in Florida that prohibit workplace discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. On October 8, 2014 from 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM, Ms. Miles will discuss state and federal recordkeeping obligations in her presentation, “Record Retention and Issuance: Is Your Organization Compliant?”
