RTYC Participates in “Days of Doing”

“Days of Doing” is a program created by the United Way of the Big Bend to promote the spirit and value of volunteerism, increase the awareness of local human service agencies and demonstrate what people working together for the community’s good can accomplish. Several members of the firm took an active role on their “Help for Hunger” day on September 21st, 2012. Jenny Day, Pam Keillor, Kendria Ellis and Peggy Smith went to HOPE Community (a 6-month transitional housing program for individuals and families experiencing homelessness) and served lunch to the residents and employees.  In addition, the entire firm was invited to help Capital City Youth Services (a facility that offers counseling and outreach services to youth and their families, and emergency shelter services to youth in crisis) by bringing in canned goods.  This day was a great opportunity for the firm to be involved in projects that make a positive impact in our community.
