Lisa Scoles Helps Raise Funds for Medical Supplies
Attorney Lisa Scoles helped host a fundraising event on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at the historic Monticello Opera House in Monticello, Florida.
The event, presented by A Doctor’s Heart, Inc. and the Monticello Rotary Club, featured heavy hors d’oeuvres, musical entertainment by Mike Purvis and a comical reading by Pulitzer-Prize winning author, Robert Olen Butler, from his book of short fiction, Tabloid Dreams. The firm was one of the event’s sponsors.
The proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to purchase medicines and optometry equipment to be used on international relief trips. These trips will provide medical and optometric care to the needy river people in the Amazonas province of Brazil.
