Sink called upon the broad coalition last month to review federal foreclosure assistance legislation
TALLAHASSEE—Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink announced today that her “Financial Action Team” will meet Wednesday, September 24, 2008, in Room 412 of the Knott Building in Tallahassee.
The Financial Action Team is reviewing Florida’s potential share of the billions in federal dollars available from the recently-passed federal Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008. “Financial Action Team” members from more than a dozen housing, financial services, government and economic development organizations will report Wednesday on projected outreach and educational efforts to inform Floridians about available federal resources.
