12th Annual Gulf Power Economic Symposium
Susan Clark, Shareholder, and Terry Deason, Non-Lawyer Special Consultant, who also serves on the Board of Directors of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce, attended the 12th Annual Gulf Power Economic Symposium held on September 21-23, 2008, in Sandestin, Florida. The purpose of the symposium is to bring leaders from industry, government and education together to cooperatively promote economic development throughout the 16 counties which compromise Florida’s Great Northwest. The Symposium was attended by more than 500 leaders, including over 80 elected officials throughout the state and region. Speakers at the symposium included Matthew M. Carter, II, Chairman of the Florida Public Service Commission and the incoming speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, Ray Sansom.
