Terry Deason Gives Presentation at Coal Institute Seminar
Terry Deason, special consultant, gave a presentation to the Coal Institute at its 36th Annual Summer Trade Seminar on July 9, 2007. Mr. Deason addressed electric generation developments with a particular emphasis on recent changes taking place in Florida. Mr. Deason explained the power plant siting process and described recent legislative and regulatory initiatives to promote nuclear energy and integrated gasification combined cycle generating technology in Florida. Mr. Deason also described efforts to promote conservation and renewable energy and the overall need for energy diversification in Florida.
