Christopher B. Lunny has achieved the highest ranking from Martindale-Hubbell rating organization (AV) and been named to Florida Trend’s Legal Elite list of outstanding Florida lawyers for the past six consecutive years. Since 2009, Mr. Lunny has also been named to the Florida Super Lawyers list, which is a peer-reviewed list of lawyers representing no more than 5% of Florida lawyers. Mr. Lunny practices labor and employment law, commercial litigation and corporate law. In his labor and employment practice, Mr. Lunny represents management and has extensive experience assisting clients in the resolution of issues that arise in all phases of the employment relationship including hiring, I-9 compliance, wage and hour, discipline, severance and termination concerns. Mr. Lunny has also represented public and private sector employers in all forms of employment related litigation, including breach of non-competition agreements, trade secret concerns, Fair Labor Standards Act litigation and the defense of race, age, disability, pregnancy, gender discrimination/sexual harassment and whistleblower claims. He conducts training sessions for management personnel and has frequently been an author and lecturer on employment law issues.
Mr. Lunny also practices commercial litigation, with measurable experience in the representation of carriers in complex litigation matters, including multi-million dollar cases involving large risk deductible and guaranteed cost policies. Mr. Lunny handles general commercial litigation in state and federal courts and he serves as corporate counsel for business organizations.
