Angela D. Miles practices primarily labor and employment law, administrative law and commercial litigation.  In her labor and employment practice, Angela routinely advises employers on a variety of complex employment-related matters including hiring, wage and hour, employee leave, discipline, severance and termination concerns.  Angela also represents private and public sector employers in employment-related litigation, including the Employment Retirement Income Security Act, breach of non-competition agreements, trade secret concerns, Fair Labor Standards Act litigation and the defense of race, disability, gender discrimination/sexual harassment and retaliation claims.  Angela also practices administrative law and has experience representing private companies in their dealings with state agencies. 

At the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Angela graduated in the top one percent of her class, received several book awards and was a member of the University of Florida Law Review.  She earned her undergraduate degree in political science, with high honors, from Florida State University in 2005.  Before joining the firm as an associate in 2010, Angela served as a law clerk for the First District Court of Appeal in Tallahassee, Florida, where she gained invaluable appellate experience and learned to navigate through Florida’s appellate courts.
