Travis Miller Speaks at FSU “Executives in the Classroom” Day
Travis Miller joined a panel of insurance industry officials for this spring’s “Executives in the Classroom” Day for the Florida State University College of Business’ Risk Management & Insurance Program. The panels speak to several risk management and insurance classes in the College of Business, ranging from introductory classes for business majors who have not yet selected a program to advanced classes taken by students majoring in Risk Management & Insurance. The panels include speakers from both the public sector and private sector in disciplines throughout the industry, including sales, underwriting, claims, law and management. The goal of the presentations is to introduce students to the wide range of employment options and interests that exist within the insurance industry.
The FSU Risk Management & Insurance program is one of the highest rated programs in the country. The job placement rate for the program is exceptionally high as employers vie for the top graduates each year. The program also is an integral part of a university-wide focus on risk and risk management that includes disciplines within and outside of the College of Business.
